Our STEAM team recently visited Alice Springs Public Library as part of Skills 2021 week, showcasing the latest in robotics, drones and creative Adobe programs.
Teachers and students learnt about how to operate drones in a safe way, Adobe Spark apps and coding Spheros, paving their understanding of future skills needed to work in the technology sector. The Skills 2021 Week programs provide a practical and theoretical understanding of technology, with a major focus of the session on developing students coding and creative skill sets.
Students explored coding concepts like loops, x and y dimensions, angles, as well as multi modal storytelling by developing posters, videos and webpages.
Our programs were also showcased in the Centralian Advocate. Please read the below article for more information about our programs and how it helps students across the Northern Territory.
