About Skills 2021

Skills 2021 is a free annual event held at Parliament House on Friday 21 September 2018, providing students opportunities to learn about new technologies and future careers in our digital world. The event gives the technology sector opportunities to interact with schools and demonstrate their technologies and work to students.

Opening with a showcase EXPO sponsored by vendor partners and Northern Territory senior schools, exhibitions include latest developments in robotics, 3D printing, multimedia, and gaming.

Hands-on workshops highlighting technology like coding, robotics, 3D design, gaming, multimedia book and video production will be held in Darwin for students and teachers in schools across Darwin.

Registrations to attend Skills 2021 will open in June/July.

Terms and Conditions of Entry

  • One ticket allows a class of up to 30 students, no limit on number teachers, parents and carers attending from the school.
  • Schools can only select either the afternoon or morning session. Not both.
  • One ticket per school permitted.
